PFL Heavyweight Bruno Cappelozza Suspended For 1 Year

On Monday, the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) announced that Bruno Cappelozza has been suspended for a year for violating the PFL anti-doping policy. Cappelozza tested positive for clomiphene and its metabolite, desethyl-clomifene.

The out-of-competition drug test was conducted on April 17. Cappelozza will be able to step into the octagon from April 17, 2025, onward.

This is Bruno Cappelozza’s second suspension. Last year, he was suspended for nine months after testing positive for drostanolone, an anabolic steroid.

Cappelozza last competed at the PFL vs. Bellator event on February 24th, where he lost to Vadim Nemkov via technical submission (arm-triangle choke) in round 2.
