Petr Yan last competed at UFC 299, defeating Song Yadong via unanimous decision. Deiveson Figueiredo last fought on August 3, where he defeated Marlon Vera. Yan is ranked No. 3, and Figueiredo is ranked No. 5 in the bantamweight division.
