This past Saturday, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in the main event at Night of Champions.
The Usos interfered in the match while the referee was knocked out. The Usos accidentally hit a double super kick on Solo Sikoa, which angered The Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns then blamed Jimmy and Jey Uso. Jimmy lost his control and hit two superkicks on Reigns. Kevin Owens then hit a Stunner. Sami Zayn hit a Helluva Kick on Solo to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles.
WWE announced that Roman Reigns’ 1000 days championship celebration will take place this Friday in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Paul Heyman issued a statement on Twitter regarding Jimmy Usos’ betrayal. Heyman stated that the situation will address in the upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
“Your Tribal Chief, Solo and I are jetting back home from #WWENOC
We will talk about this in detail Friday on #SmackDown”
