Last September, Pat McAfee became a full-time member of ESPN’s “College GameDay” broadcast team. At the time, McAfee stated he will return to WWE when the football season was over. WWE then replaced McAfee with Wade Barret as a color commentator on the blue brand.

McAfee made a one-time appearance at the 2023 Royal Rumble, joining Michael Cole and Corey Graves to call the matches. He also competed at this year’s WrestleMania in an impromptu match against The Miz.

The New York Post reported the former NFL Punter signed a new contract with ESPN worth eight figures per year. The deal will begin in the fall. Pat McAfee is set to part away with his four-year, $120 million deal with FanDuel. He is in the second year of the FanDuel deal as of now.

ESPN and McAfee stated that all three hours of “The Pat McAfee Show” will remain on YouTube. It will on ESPN and ESPN+ as well.
