NJPW's Gabe Kidd Takes Shot At WWE & AEW

NJPW Resurgence pay-per-view event is scheduled to take place tonight at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Eddie Kingston is set to defend his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship against Gabe Kidd in a No Rope Last Man Standing match at the event.

Recently, Gabe Kidd appeared on CBS News Los Angeles to promote tonight’s NJPW event. Kidd was asked about why he thinks other wrestling promotions are boring and why NJPW is exciting. He said the following:

“Listen, I’ll put it in simple terms. [If] you like theater, go and watch WWE. If you’re a fat nerd who can’t talk to girls, go and watch AEW. But if you want to watch the real stuff, New Japan Pro Wrestling, this is where it’s at.”
