NJPW Talent Announces Retirement From Pro Wrestling

Some pro wrestlers have to retire earlier due to injuries or unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, an NJPW talent had to end his pro wrestling career after competing last February.

NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka took place on February 11th at the EDION Arena in Osaka, Japan. The event was Alex Coughlin’s final appearance in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Coughlin and the rest of the Bullet Club members defeated United Empire in a Steel Cage match at the show.

The 30-year-old competed in two independent events after The New Beginning in Osaka. Coughlin last competed at NYWC Psycho Circus 21, where he and Sean Wachter defeated QGTM.

The former NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Champion announced his retirement from wrestling.

“Yeah I’m retired and it sucks now leave me the f–k alone
Actually I have some merch and gear to sell still so don’t f–k off just yet”
