Nikki and Brie made headlines this week after announcing their departure from WWE. Both women dropped their “Bella” name on social media and reintroduced themselves as “Garcia Twins.”

The Garcia Twins then received a huge welcome from AEW’s Saraya and Britt Baker. Prior to announcing their WWE departure, Nikki and Brie were spotted backstage at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view. Therefore, many fans assumed that the two WWE Hall of Famers will join All Elite Wrestling. However, that’s not the case.

In a recent Instagram live stream, Nikki Garcia stated that she and Brie won’t be joining All Elite Wrestling.

“That’s the same. There’s no hard feelings. I get because of everything in the past, especially the past maybe six months, it seems that way. We’re not going to AEW. I’ve seen a lot of that because we are just there visiting Renee and Paige. I was like, I haven’t had an opportunity to take Matteo backstage to a wrestling event, and when he knew uncle Bryan was gonna be there, Matteo loves his uncle Bryan. Brie and I are like, we have to go see Bryan. The kids had so much fun.”
