Last Thursday, Janel Grant, a former employee, filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis. McMahon issued a statement on Friday to announce his resignation from TKO Group.
McMahon and Laurinaitis have been accused of misconduct since 2022. As a result, McMahon stepped down as CEO of WWE for a few months. John Laurinaitis has been away from WWE since June of last year. He never issued a statement or publicly appeared.
John Laurinaitis has been married to Nikki and Brie Garcia’s mother, Kathy Colace, since 2016. Laurinaitis is technically the father-in-law of Bryan Danielson.
The Garcia Twins issued a joint statement about the allegations against “members of WWE.”
“We are shocked and disheartened with the recent allegations against members of the WWE. It has been a lot to process since we found out this past week just as you all did. This is something we don’t stand for or condone from anyone no matter who they are. We want all women to feel safe and supported in the workplace and in their everyday lives.”
