Movsar Evloev Out Of UFC 307

Movsar Evloev (18-0) was supposed to fight Aljamain Sterling (24-4) in a featherweight bout on Saturday, October 5 at UFC 307. However, Sterling announced that he had to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.

Last Thursday, Evloev stated, “I see Aljamain announced on his YouTube channel that he is out of the fight. I’ve been training for 4 months and would like to stay on this card and fight anybody, I’m not sure if the UFC can find someone to fight me but I worked really hard for this fight.”

MMA Mania reported that UFC could not find an opponent for Movsar Evloev. They added that Evloev won’t be a part of UFC 307 and has returned to his home country, Russia.

The 30-year-old last competed at UFC 297, where he defeated Arnold Allen via unanimous decision.
