Mickie James has been active in the pro wrestling business for over two decades now. James has competed in several wrestling promotions throughout her career.
The 44-year-old took a hiatus from pro wrestling after competing at Bound For Glory last October. At the show, Mickie James lost to Trinity for the Knockouts World Championship. Recently, James accepted a backstage role in an independent promotion.
OVW announced that Mickie James was hired as the Creative Director and the Head of Female Talent. James also holds the position of Executive Producer for OVW shows.
Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) is an independent wrestling promotion based in Louisville, Kentucky. OVW was the former development territory for WWE from 2000 to 2008.
