Michael 'Venom' Page Breaks Silence After His First UFC Loss

Michael ‘Venom’ Page (22-3) suffered his first loss in Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC 303 last Saturday. At the event, MVP was defeated by Ian Machado Garry (15-0) via unanimous decision (29-28 x 3).

On Instagram, Michael Page issued the following statement:

“When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal. #ufc303”

The 37-year-old made his UFC debut at UFC 299, where he defeated Kevin Holland via unanimous decision (29-28 x 3). MVP competed in Bellator before joining UFC. He had a 17-2 MMA record in the organization.
