This past Friday, the welterweight fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler was removed from the UFC 303 card due to McGregor’s injury. There is no official word yet on when the fight will take place.
On X, Conor McGregor stated that he sustained an injury before the press conference in Dublin. McGregor added that the decision to postpone the fight was made in consultation with his team, doctors, and UFC management. The Notorious further noted that he needs to be in better shape for the upcoming fight and will do everything for that.
Michael Chandler responded to Conor McGregor’s statement as follows:
“No hard feelings. Heal up. My heart is full. See you soon.”
In another post, Chandler stated the following:
Official statement: ‘I’m here, just as in 2009 when I started. The most reliable man in MMA. See you when I see you.’
No hard feelings. Heal up. My heart is full. See you soon.
