Mercedes Mone Claims She's The Greatest Women’s Wrestler Of All Time

Sasha Banks is one of the pioneers of the women’s revolution and had a successful run in WWE. However, Banks left WWE in 2022 due to frustration with the direction of her character.

Last year, Banks joined New Japan Pro Wrestling under the name “Mercedes Mone.” In April 2023, she suffered an ankle injury during the match against Willow Nightingale at NJPW Resurgence. Mone made her All Elite Wrestling debut in March.

In an interview with The Ringer, Mercedes Mone proclaimed she is the “greatest women’s wrestler of all time.”

“They haven’t really got to see the CEO. They know who Sasha Banks is, but the CEO, Mercedes Moné, [is] something they’ve never seen before, and I’m ready to show them. I’m the greatest women’s wrestler of all time, 100 percent.”

Mone is scheduled to face Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship at AEW Double or Nothing this Sunday.
