Mayra Bueno Silva's Portion Of UFC 303 Purse Withheld By NSAC

Mayra Bueno Silva competed in a bantamweight bout against Macy Chiasson at UFC 303. In the second round, Chiasson delivered an elbow strike to Mayra that opened a cut above her eye. Chiasson won the fight via TKO (doctor stoppage).

However, Mayra wasn’t thrilled with the decision. She insisted that she wanted to continue the fight. The 32-year-old then jumped the cage and had a conversation with Dana White.

Nolan King of MMA Junkie reported that the Nevada State Athletic Commission has temporarily withheld $2,500 from her purse for hopping the cage before the decision was officially announced.

“The NSAC has temporarily withheld a small portion ($2,500 of $100,000) of Mayra Bueno Silva’s #UFC303 purse for hopping the cage post-fight.”
