Jeff & Matt Hardy competed on the January 5th episode of AEW Rampage. At the show, The Hardys teamed up with Mark Briscoe to defeat Kip Sabian, The Butcher, and The Blade in a Six-Man Tag Team match.
Last week’s AEW Rampage drew an average of 406,000 viewers, with 0.14 in the 18-49 demographic. The show was able to surpass the 400,000 mark for the first time since the October 13th, 2023 episode. However, the January 6th episode of AEW Collision drew an average of 402,000 viewers, with 0.13 in the 18-49 demographic.
Therefore, The Hardys took credit for beating AEW Collision. Last night, Jeff Hardy mentioned it on Rampage and said the following:
“Yeah, not only did we kick a– in the ring, We kicked a-s in the ratings, Rampage beat Collision, A live show, viewership/demo [in] all categories.”

After Jeff’s promo, a fan on X stated that Jeff Hardy buried the company.
“Jeff burying the company again. Go to ROH and just stay off of my screen. This isn’t 2001.”
Matt Hardy posted the screenshot of that fan’s X post and issued the following response:
“Jeff was merely celebrating how amazing #AEWRampage performed last week (with us featured more than anyone). It was a victory for both @AEW & The Hardys! Jeff touted the huge rating that an important #AEW TV show drew & the malcontents thanked The #LivingLegends like this ⬇️🤦🏻♂️⬇️”
