Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 21st at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. Mark Briscoe was supposed to compete against Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Championship in the main event of the show. Unfortunately, Briscoe was pulled from the event.
Tony Khan announced that Mark Briscoe isn’t medically cleared to compete at ROH Death Before Dishonor. Khan stated that Claudio’s opponent will be announced next Wednesday after the Blood and Guts match.

Fightful Select provided an update regarding Mark Briscoe’s condition. They stated that Briscoe has suffered a knee injury and required surgery.
Mark Briscoe last competed on the June 29th episode of ROH, where he defeated JD Drake and Tony Nese in a Three-Way match.
AEW hasn’t officially announced any match for Death Before Dishonor PPV.
