Mandy Rose held the NXT Women’s Championship for 413 days and became the third-longest-reigning NXT Women’s champion in NXT history. This past Tuesday on NXT, she lost the title to Roxanne Perez. WWE decided to release Mandy Rose from the contract after Mandy published NSFW content on her website.

Mandy’s WWE release polarized the fans. Some said she deserve it while others said she should re-hire.

Now, the former NXT Women’s Champion commented for the first time after getting released by WWE. Mandy Rose indicated that she will continue publishing on the website, which means she won’t be expected to return to WWE.

“Hey guys, thank you for all the messages. I am overwhelmed with all the love and support from you guys. And don’t worry the page is still up! ;)”

WWE is a publicly-traded company and Mandy Rose is well aware that she will be getting in trouble with the management for doing NSFW content. WWE became a family-friendly show in the summer of 2008 and Mandy Rose’s situation can’t compare to what happened in the Attitude Era or to other stories.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
