Raquel Rodriguez Issues Statement After Losing Women's Tag Team Titles On WWE RAW

Earlier this month, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez won the Women’s Tag Team Championships by defeating Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler at Money in the Bank. Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville became the No. 1 contenders for the titles by winning the Tag Team Turmoil match on the July 3rd episode of WWE RAW.

Last night, Green and Deville faced Liv and Rodriguez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Before the match starts, Rhea Ripley attacked Rodriguez and Liv in a backstage segment. However, Raquel Rodriguez decided to compete in the match despite being injured.

During the match, Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville took advantage of Rodriguez’s injury. In the closing moment of the match, Green delivered Liv with an Unprettier. Deville then hit a knee strike on Liv to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Raquel Rodriguez issued the following statement after losing the Tag Team titles.

“I tried y’all 🥺 I’m sorry @YaOnlyLivvOnce I let you down”
