Today AEW held a meet and greet event for tonight’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Many fans were looking forward to seeing MJF at the meet and greet event. But he did not appear. One AEW fan tweeted that he was told by the security guard that MJF was not coming to his meet and greet. There have been a lot of backstage issues happening between AEW president Tony Khan and MJF lately.
PWInsider reported that MJF had isolated himself from the AEW locker room. However, according to another report from PWInsider, MJF will participate in tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view. It was also noted that the situation is not a work.
We are told MJF is still in Las Vegas as of this writing, which would mean he did not fly back to the East Coast, which until an hour or so ago remained a possibility.
For those who are asking if the situation is a work, that is a big NO, but obviously everything can be retroactively converted into one if everyone gets on the same page.
AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view is scheduled to take place tonight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Thirteen matches are confirmed for the event.
