LA Knight Responds To Criticism Over King Of The Ring Match Not Being Televised

WWE held a SuperShow live event this past Saturday at the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee. LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament, while Tiffany Stratton defeated Michin in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

A fan criticized WWE’s decision to hold King & Queen of the Ring matches at live events. LA Knight responded to the fan and defended the company’s decision. Knight stated that matches with huge stakes make the live event more interesting.

“I appreciate everyone saying this match should’ve been on TV. But, no need to throw live event crowds under the bus.

Live events are where the @WWE roster has as much fun as possible.

Not only having a great match, but a match with HUGE stakes makes the live events more fun!🚀”
