King Green Breaks Silence After UFC 304 Loss To Paddy Pimblett

This past Saturday, King Green, formerly known as Bobby Green, faced Paddy Pimblett in a lightweight bout at UFC 304 in Manchester, England. Unfortunately, the fight didn’t go as Green expected. Pimblett defeated Green via triangle choke at 3:22 in round 1.

On Monday, King Green (32-16-1Draw-1NC) posted a video clip on his Instagram story to address the loss. Green said he had a bad night and expects troll comments on social media.

“What a day! Thank you guys for checking in on me. I’m ok, I guess. Sh-t happens. I felt like I slipped into some sh-t and it all just went the perfect way. I had a bad night. No excuses. Sh-t happens. I live by a code: kill or be killed. Today, I got killed. Let the ridicule begin. I know what comes with this. You guys can talk your sh-t. I know what comes with this. Let’s go.”

King Green asked Dana White to increase the bonus from $50,000 to $100,000 during the pre-fight press conference. But Green wasn’t lucky enough to earn the bonus. Pimblett earned $200,000 for his Performance of the Night prize.
