Tony Khan started All Elite Wrestling in 2019 along with Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega. Rhodes, Bucks, and Omega worked as the EVPs of AEW and the company gained huge popularity during the first two years.

However, earlier this year Cody Rhodes left AEW along with his wife Brandi Rhodes. Cody then signed with WWE and made his shocking return at WrestleMania 38. After Cody’s WWE return, it seems like all the other EVPs are attempting to follow in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes.

Recently, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that The Young Bucks expressed their interest in signing with WWE when their AEW contracts expired in late 2023. Now, Steve Carrier of Ringside News has reported that Kenny Omega is also interested in joining WWE.

We can confirm that the Young Bucks sent out feelers to WWE. They are not alone. We were told that Kenny Omega has had feelers out to WWE since before he returned from injury.

The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are currently being suspended by AEW following the backstage fight at AEW All Out media scrum.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
