The future of Karrion Kross and Scarlett in WWE remains uncertain, with conflicting reports offering varying updates. Their contracts were reportedly set to expire this month, sparking rumors about whether the couple will remain with the company.
On Monday, Fightful Select reported that Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s contracts expired over the past weekend, and, at that time, WWE had not offered a renewal. However, just two days later, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer noted that the company had extended a new deal to the duo.
Kross recently addressed the speculation in an interview with Joey Karni. When asked if fans can expect to see him and Scarlett on RAW again, he responded,
“I hope so. I see things being written online right now, specifically today. A lot of what I read is not true. I hate to disappoint people, but I don’t want to bullsh-t. I hope we do come back.”
Kross said the following in an interview with the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling;
“I’m still under contract. I saw a bunch of stuff online today. I don’t know when you put this up. Today’s Thursday. I saw a bunch of stuff online today. I don’t know where it’s coming from, and I don’t care to speak to any of it, but I mean, all I can tell you is the only way you’re gonna get the real story is when you get it from me. That’s all I can tell you.
I can’t really speak to any of the legitimacy of anything that is being recently reported. But I’ll tell you right now, everyone’s gonna know exactly what’s going on very soon. So, like, they’re gonna know.”
Karrion Kross was last seen on WWE television during Night One of SummerSlam, where he lost to Sami Zayn. Reports suggest a planned follow-up appearance on WWE RAW was canceled due to their unresolved contract situation.
