Jon Moxley Pokes Fun At NJPW Titles After Wrestle Kingdom 18 Loss

NJPW held Wrestle Kingdom 18 on Thursday at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. The show featured Bryan Danielson, Kazuchika Okada, Jon Moxley, Will Ospreay, and many other wrestlers.

Jon Moxley faced Will Ospreay and David Finlay in a Three-Way match for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship. Finlay pinned Ospreay to become the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion.

The BCC member addressed his loss backstage at Wrestle Kingdom 18. Jon Moxley didn’t even know the name of the title he challenged for. He said that NJPW has so many championships.

“I just came up short opportunity for the Global Championship, ‘Is that what this one’s called?’ There’s like 32 f–king championships — Midwestern, Continental, Global, Internet Global f–king Mitsubishi, Ford. Like, I don’t know what the f–k going on but they are big shiny belts, And they go to people who win wrestling matches and I didn’t f–king win tonight. So sick of triple threats because I don’t even have to get f–king pinned and I come up short but it’s all good man.”
