Last night, John Cena made his return to SmackDown and announced that he will be the host of the Payback premium live event. Jimmy Uso then interrupted Cena and asked why he returned to the company. Jimmy said that Cena and Roman Reigns are exactly alike. The 16-time World Champion said that “the wrong Uso quit.” Jimmy Uso went for a Superkick, but Cena delivered an Attitude Adjustment.
In an exclusive interview with Cathy Kelley, John Cena reminded that he will be retiring in the near future.
“Every single chance I get to go out there, it becomes more and more special. There’s no denying the fact that I’m 46 and staring down 47. I’ve been here for over two decades. As I said out there in the ring, the last one is not tonight, but I know it’s soon. To speak candidly, when you’re involved in this every day in a full-time capacity, you just think about what’s next.”
