John Cena made his return to WWE on the September 1st episode of SmackDown. A week later, Cena teamed up with Seth Rollins to defeat Imperium at Superstar Spectacle in India. The GOAT then competed in four dark matches on the blue brand.
The 16-time World Champion last wrestled at Fastlane PLE, where he and LA Knight defeated Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a Tag Team match. During the Fastlane press conference, John Cena made it clear that he would leave WWE after the Hollywood strike ended.
Last month, Hollywood writers ended their strike after agreeing to a tentative deal with entertainment companies. However, the actors are still on strike.
Today, John Cena posted a photo of a scene from The Wolf of Wall Street movie on Instagram. In this scene, Leonardo DiCaprio who portrayed the role of Jordan Belfort says, “I’m not f–king leaving.”
John Cena has been advertised until next week’s SmackDown in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Therefore, this is a clear indication that Cena is planning to stay in WWE for some more time.
Last night, John Cena said that he hadn’t won a singles match in the last 2002 days. Cena called out someone backstage to fight him. Solo Sikoa accepted the challenge. However, Jimmy Uso interfered. Jey Uso then came through the crowd and superkicked his brother. Cena delivered an Attitude Adjustment on Solo.
