Jeff & Matt Hardy were supposed to receive a huge push in 2022. At one point, Tony Khan had a plan to put the AEW World Tag Team Titles on The Hardys’ shoulders. However, all the plans had to be canceled after Jeff Hardy was arrested for DUI two years ago.
The Hardys are currently featured on AEW Rampage. Jeff & Matt Hardy last competed on the January 5th episode of Rampage, where they teamed up with Mark Briscoe to defeat Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade in a Trios match.
On Instagram, Jeff Hardy expressed his frustration with being booked only on AEW Rampage.
We, “The Hardys” will not be appearing on this live show called #AEWDynamite. We, “The Hardys” are stuck in the dimension of, “AEW Rampage”

The Hardys were backstage at last night’s Dynamite. However, they weren’t used for the Rampage tapings. On X, Matt Hardy posted a photo of Hardys and Young Bucks.
“It was so fantastic to see the Young Bucks return to #AEWDynamite. They’re the greatest tag team of this generation & The Tag Team GOATs acknowledge that. Proud of them for stepping up & calling out The Stinger. Just so you know – Without us, the #LivingLegends, there would be no Bucks of Youth. The Jackson brothers are one of the few teams that Jeff & I actually respect. Sweet a-s mustaches btw..”
