Jamahal Hill Issues Statement After Withdrawing From UFC 303 Due To Injury

Jamahal Hill was supposed to fight Carlos Ulberg in the co-main event of UFC 303. However, Jamahal was withdrawn from the card due to a knee injury. Therefore, Dana White announced that Ulberg will face Anthony Smith in a light heavyweight bout. White also said that Brian Ortega vs. Diego Lopes is the new co-main event of UFC 303.

On Instagram, Jamahal Hill provided an update on his knee injury.

“2 tears in my meniscus, sprained my ACL a Baker Cyst that leaked fluid in the back of my knee and a infusion in some joints!!! There were actually 3 of these. This is only making me hungrier. Be back soon!!!”

Jamahal Hill (12-2-1) last competed at UFC 300, where he fought Alex Pereira for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Hill lost the fight via first-round knockout.
