Last month, Mickie James relinquished the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship due to multiple injuries. Deonna Purrazzo won the vacant IMPACT Knockouts World Title by defeating Jordynne Grace at the Rebellion pay-per-view. However, Grace received another championship opportunity with a stipulation. If Grace loses, she won’t be eligible to challenge for the title as long as Purrazzo is the champion.
Last night, Deonna Purrazzo faced Jordynne Grace for the IMPACT Knockouts World Title at Under Siege. Purrazzo hit a Queen’s Gambit from the top to retain the title. You can read the results of the show by clicking here.
Fightful Select reported that Jordynne Grace’s IMPACT contract expired in May, and she will take time off from pro wrestling to focus on outside projects.
“Fightful Select had reported that Grace’s deal with IMPACT Wrestling was set to expire in May, and we have confirmed that she’s exiting the company for the time being. Grace tells Fightful that she’s planning on taking some time off from pro wrestling to work on some outside projects. Her contract with IMPACT has actually already expired, and she dropped an IMPACT Knockouts Title match to Deonna Purrazzo at Under Siege.”
