Health Update On Kevin Owens After Injury Scare On SmackDown

Pretty Deadly earned the opportunity to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles by winning the Tag Team Gauntlet match on the June 16th episode of SmackDown. Last night, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens kicked off SmackDown to defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Pretty Deadly.

During the match, Kevin Owens performed a cannonball on Elton Prince. Owens then clutched his left ankle. However, Owens and Zayn were able to finish the match as planned. In the closing moment, Owens hit a Stunner on Prince. Sami Zayn then hit Wilson with a Helluva Kick and retained the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
