The 57th annual Super Bowl took place this past Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The Super Bowl’s Halftime show has a rich history as numerous legends performed the event.
The Halftime show became popular following Michael Jackson’s performance at Super Bowl 27 in 1993. Since then, legends like Prince, Madonna, and Paul McCartney performed in the show.
Last year, Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige gave a spectacular show to the audience. This year’s show headliner was iconic singer Rihanna. However, her performance received mixed reactions from fans.
The wrestling world also talked about Rihanna’s performance. Many said it was good but some publicly criticized it. On the CarCast Podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg expressed his thoughts about Rihanna’s performance.
“I thought Rihanna was fricken horrible. I was disgusted by it, let’s just say that. That’s the understatement of the year. I thought it was disgusting. I thought it was horrible.”
