Gilbert Burns Issues Statement After 3rd Consecutive Loss At UFC Vegas 97

Last Saturday, Gilbert Burns faced Sean Brady in a welterweight bout in the main event of UFC Vegas 97. Burns lost to Brady via unanimous decision. It was Burns’ third consecutive loss in MMA. He lost to Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena in the previous two fights.

On Instagram, Gilbert Burns (22-8) commented on his loss to Sean Brady (17-1). Burns stated that he is extremely disappointed about his performance.

“Extremely disappointed with my performance. Not even close the work I put in for this fight, still trying to digest and understand everything, and reflecting on what’s next. Shoutout to everyone that’s being apart of this process!”
