By The Spotlight StaffMay 4, 2024
Gable Steveson Released From WWE

On Friday, WWE released Drew Gulak and ten other NXT talents from their contracts. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Gable Steveson had also been released from the company.

The Olympic Gold Medalist joined WWE in 2021 through the NIL program. During the WWE Draft that same year, Steveson was drafted to WWE RAW.

Gable Steveson made his WWE in-ring debut at The Great American Bash last year, where he faced Baron Corbin. The match ended in a double countout. Steveson competed in 16 matches before being released yesterday. He last competed against Cedric Alexander in a SmackDown dark match on February 9th.
