Santino Marella was one of the most entertaining superstars in pro wrestling. During his time in WWE, Santino had memorable moments with Beth Phoenix and Vladimir Kozlov.

In 2016, Santino retired from in-ring competition due to neck issues. However, he made sporadic appearances in WWE.

Last night, Impact Wrestling held a Hard to Kill pay-per-view. During the event, Joe Hendry defended his Digital Media Championship against Moose. In the closing moment of the match, Moose hit a low blow on Hendry to win the match.

Santino Marella then appeared on the show and restart the match. Santino is now the Director of Authority in Impact Wrestling.

PWInsider reported that the former WWE superstar is officially signed a contract with Impact Wrestling. They also noted that WWE allowed Impact Wrestling’s parent company Anthem Media to trademark Santino Marella, name.
