Former WWE Star Xia Li's MMA Debut Postponed Due To Health Issue

Xia Li was supposed to make her MMA debut under the real name Xia Zhao at this Saturday’s Combat Night event in Kissimmee, Florida. Zhao was scheduled to face Xiomara Lee. However, Xiomara withdrew from the fight a week before the event. The company then advertised the bout between Xia Zhao and Brittney Rath.

On Instagram, the former WWE star stated that she had to postpone her fight against Rath due to testing positive for COVID-19.

“I was so excited to make my debut at Combat Night for the first time. Unfortunately, I’ve tested positive for COVID-19 and, following the advice. of my coaches and doctors, I must postpone this week’s fight.

Thank you all for your unwavering support; I promise you’ll see me back in action very soon. Stay tuned for exciting projects on the horizon!”
