During her time in WWE, Chelsea Green was called up to the main roster several times. However, at the time the company didn’t have any plan for her. Green competed on WWE television on the November 13th, 2020 episode of Friday Night SmackDown before being released from WWE in April of 2021.
Recently, there were a lot of rumors circulated on social media regarding Chelsea Green’s potential WWE return. The former Impact Knockouts Champion also expressed her interest in working with WWE in numerous interviews.
Fightful Select reported that Chelsea Green officially signed a contract with WWE. However, WWE creative team doesn’t have a storyline for her yet.
“Although she hasn’t popped back up in WWE as of yet, Fightful is told that not only is Chelsea Green signed to WWE, she has been for quite some time and is still awaiting creative. We’ve asked her to confirm personally a number of times, but that won’t happen for obvious reasons. Green shut down her Onlyfans page recently, and Major Pod had to limit the production of new Chelsea Green merchandise as a result of her signing,”
As of this writing, Chelsea Green’s husband and former WWE superstar Zack Ryder also known as Matt Cardona didn’t sign a contract with WWE yet.
