Former AEW Star Brian Pillman Jr. Spotted Training At WWE Performance Center

By The Spotlight StaffJuly 14, 2023
Former AEW Star Brian Pillman Jr. Spotted Training At WWE Performance Center

In 2021, Brian Pillman Jr. signed a full-time deal with All Elite Wrestling. However, he had a lackluster run in AEW. Brian last wrestled in Tony Khan’s promotion on the May 13th House Rules Event. In that show, Brian and Brock Anderson lost to The Gunns.

Brian Pillman Jr. competed in numerous independent promotions in the past few weeks. Brian competed in ACW on July 7th, where he faced Josh Bishop for the ACW Heavyweight Championship.

On Tuesday, PWInsider reported that Brian Pillman Jr. departed from All Elite Wrestling. They further noted that the door will remain open for the 29-year-old. However, Brian didn’t issue any statement after leaving AEW.

Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that Brian was spotted training on Thursday at WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. There’s no report on whether he signed with WWE.
