Footage Exists Of CM Punk and Jack Perry’s Backstage Incident At AEW All In

By The Spotlight StaffAugust 31, 2023
Footage Exists Of CM Punk and Jack Perry's Backstage Incident At AEW All In

Last June, CM Punk and several officials informed Jack Perry not to use real glass for a segment on an AEW Collision episode. Punk allegedly told Perry that if he didn’t want to listen to the officials, then Perry could stay on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.

This past Sunday during his match against Hook in the Zero Hour of All In, Jack Perry took a shot at CM Punk by saying, “Real Glass. Go cry me a river.” Punk and Perry then had a backstage altercation over that comment a few minutes before the All In main show began.

According to Sports Illustrated, both men have been suspended indefinitely. Tony Khan said that they are investigating the matter.

Fightful Select reported that the investigators are collecting statements and interviews to fully understand what happened between Punk and Perry backstage. Fightful Select also noted that “there is footage of the incident, as there are cameras all over Wembley.” A source told Fightful Select that “Punk and Tony Khan had an interaction that was described as contentious.”
