Triplemanía XXXI took place last night at the Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City. El Hijo Del Vikingo defended his AAA Mega Championship against “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Jack Cartwheel, and Daga in a Four-Way match. The bout featured numerous high-flying spots.
Vikingo delivered a 630 Senton off the top rope on Jack Cartwheel to retain the title. The 26-year-old has now held the AAA Mega Championship for 617 days.
Unfortunately, Vikingo collapsed backstage after the victory. As you can see below, he was then carried on a stretcher by the medical team.

As of now, there’s no update about Vikingo’s condition. Earlier this year, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and Konnan had advised Vikingo to slow down his wrestling style because they wanted to see him wrestle longer.
We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight for more news.
