On Sunday, TNA Wrestling taped an episode of TNA iMPACT at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit, Michigan. El Hijo del Vikingo faced Trent Seven at the show. Vikingo suffered a leg injury after performing a springboard dive off the top rope. The referee threw the X sign, and Vikingo was taken off on a stretcher.
In an Instagram story, the 27-year-old stated the following:
“Thanks to my brother, Laredo Kid, for accompanying me and keeping an eye on me! I chose this sport, I am happy for the good and the bad. I will recover and come back stronger than ever. Thanks to everyone who sent me a message!”

Last month, Vikingo returned to the ring after recovering from an ACL injury. He competed in 8 matches before being injured at last night’s TNA iMPACT tapings.
El Hijo Del Vikingo left on a stretcher at the TNA tapings in Detroit. He landed badly on his leg. Hopefully nothing serious. #TNABoundForGlory #TNA pic.twitter.com/pMGsMAvBIf
