This past Friday, Cody Rhodes shocked fans by announcing that he wouldn’t face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. The Rock then appeared on SmackDown as Reigns’ challenger for the title. It was later revealed that Rock had pushed WWE to insert himself into the WrestleMania main event.
Cody Rhodes is getting overwhelming support from the fans after The Rock interfered in the Cody/Roman storyline. The 19-minute segment between Rock and Roman Reigns has been flooded with dislikes on YouTube, while “#WeWantCody” has become the No. 1 trend on X in the United States.
Cody Rhodes’ brother, Dustin Rhodes, reacted to Cody/Rock’s situation.
“I love you @CodyRhodes. You are a light for all of us!! #KeepSteppin”

In an interview with Sports Illustrated on January 17th, Dustin Rhodes stated that he wouldn’t be happy if The Rock took his brother’s WrestleMania spot.
“I hope Cody’s in the main event spot against Roman. Or it’s going to be The Rock. If it is The Rock, I’m pissed–this is Cody’s time. He is becoming the face of the company, and it’s paying off. But I get it. If it is The Rock, it’s still good business. I understand that there are a lot of people who love seeing The Rock. But I still think it’s Cody’s moment.”
