Drew McIntyre may be forced to miss SummerSlam this weekend following unexpected travel complications. In a video posted to his social media accounts, McIntyre revealed he is currently stranded in England after being denied boarding on a flight back to the United States due to passport issues.
The Scottish Warrior had traveled to the U.K. for a friend’s wedding but encountered bureaucratic trouble when attempting to return. Despite holding dual citizenship in both the United Kingdom and the United States, McIntyre reportedly ran into complications regarding which documentation was required for his specific travel situation.

McIntyre is currently scheduled to team up with Logan Paul to face Randy Orton and Jelly Roll in a tag team match at SummerSlam. However, his travel status has thrown the match into question.
While many fans are unsure whether this is part of a storyline or a real situation, PWInsider reports that WWE sources have confirmed it’s legitimate.
“In speaking to WWE sources, this is a legitimate issue the company is currently dealing with.”
