Last September, WWE and UFC were merged to form TKO Group Holdings. The publicly listed company is currently owned by Endeavor Group Holdings.
Since the formation of TKO, WWE and UFC have done business together on some occasions. A few months ago, Michael Chandler appeared on WWE RAW to promote his upcoming fight against Conor McGregor. NXT Battleground PLE moves to UFC Apex is another example of the UFC and WWE partnership.
During the UFC 302 post-fight press conference, UFC CEO Dana White was asked if he was working with WWE or if he was separate from WWE. White said that he is not working with WWE at all and WWE is getting help from his employees business-wise.
“It’s very separated. I haven’t worked with them at all. I do what I do and they do what they do. They’re using some of the people from my team to help them in different areas business-wise. As far as putting on live events, WWE is very good at what they do and we’re very good at what we do.”
