Earlier this month, Ronda Rousey lost to Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules match at SummerSlam. That was Rousey’s final bout in WWE as she confirmed her departure from the promotion via an Instagram post.
Yesterday, UFC President Dana White did an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, where he was asked about the possibility of Rousey coming back to the octagon for UFC 300. White stated that she won’t return.
“There’s no shot. She’s accomplished everything she set out to do. Her dream was to win a UFC championship, then win a WWE championship, and she’s done it, now she’s starting a family. Ronda has made so much money, and she’s still making a lot of money in sponsorships.”
Ronda Rousey’s last MMA fight took place at UFC 207 in 2016, where she lost to Amanda Nunes via first-round TKO for the Women’s Bantamweight Title.
