UFC 308 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 26th at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
On Saturday, Dana White announced that Ilia Topuria (15-0) is set to defend his UFC Featherweight Championship for the first time against BMF Champion Max Holloway (26-7) in the main event of UFC 308. Topuria won the Featherweight Title at UFC 298 by defeating Alexander Volkanovski via KO in round 2.
Khamzat Chimaev (13-0) will face Robert Whittaker (26-7) in a five-round middleweight bout in the co-main event of UFC 308. Chimaev last competed at UFC 294 in 2023, where he defeated Kamaru Usman by majority decision. Whittaker last fought at UFC Fight Night on June 22nd against Ikram Aliskerov. Whittaker won the fight via KO in round 1.
