UFC 307 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5th at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
On Friday, Dana White announced that Alex Pereira (11-2) will defend his Light Heavyweight Championship against Khalil Rountree Jr. (13-5, 1 NC) in the main event of UFC 307. Rountree Jr. is ranked #8 in the Light Heavyweight division.
Pereira last competed at UFC 303 on short notice, knocking out Jiří Procházka in round 2 to retain the title. Rountree Jr. last fought on December 9th, 2023, at UFC Fight Night, where he defeated Anthony Smith via TKO in round 3.
White also announced that Raquel Pennington (16-8) will defend her Women’s Bantamweight Championship against the No. 1 contender Julianna Peña (11-5) in the co-main event of the show.
