Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported that last week WWE sold nearly 1,700 tickets for tonight’s RAW. Meltzer added that fans bought tickets to the show, assuming Punk would make an appearance. However, CM Punk never advertised for RAW.
“There’s going to be a lot of upset people because they sold almost 1700 tickets in the last week for Albany for Raw, and that’s for Punk. They never advertised him. The people just bought the tickets, assuming he would be there. Tickets moved. That’s a lot of tickets to move in a week, and that’s the reason they moved.”
On Sunday, WrestleTix reported that 6,599 tickets had been distributed for tonight’s WWE RAW in Albany, New York. The company set up 7,145 seats for the show. More than 1,655 tickets were sold after CM Punk’s appearance on the November 27th episode of RAW.
