This past Wednesday, CM Punk made his return to AEW Dynamite. Punk, FTR, and Ricky Starks saved Hardys from The Gunns and Bullet Club Gold’s attack. AEW then announced that CM Punk, FTR & Ricky Starks will face The Gunns & Bullet Club Gold in an Eight-Man Tag Team match on Collision tonight.
However, CM Punk’s return to Dynamite has upset a top star in the company. Dave Meltzer stated that an unnamed top star went home in a bad mood due to key people (The Elite) being kept away from this Wednesday’s show. Punk was also described as a “ticking time b*mb.”
“One top name noted to us that they went home after the show on Wednesday in a bad mood and even with the key people kept apart and not on the same shows, described the fear of this being a ticking time b*mb that will not have a happy ending.”
CM Punk responded to Meltzer’s report via an Instagram story. Punk posted a photo of himself with Rancid’s “Time B*mb” song.
