CM Punk posted two Instagram stories following Tony Khan’s announcement on AEW Dynamite
CM Punk last competed at the 2022 All Out pay-per-view, where he defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship for the second time. Punk and The Elite were then involved in the infamous backstage brawl during the All Out press conference. He was then stripped from the title and suspended.
AEW has been struggling to draw viewership and ratings after CM Punk’s absence. Therefore, Punk’s return will certainly help the product.
