Recently, Fightful Select reported that CM Punk and Jack Perry had an altercation backstage at AEW Collision in June. Fightful noted that Punk prevented Perry from using a real glass in a segment. Fightful added that Punk thought Perry going through a real glass was unsafe. They further noted that Punk thought Perry just wanted to do that unsafe spot because he didn’t want to appear on the show in the coming week.
In the Zero Hour of AEW All In, Jack Perry faced Hook for the FTW Championship. At one point, Perry performed a Rolling Thunder on Hook upon the limousine. Perry then took a shot at CM Punk by saying, “Real Glass. Go cry me a river!”
Sean Ross of Fightful Select reported that CM Punk and Jack Perry had a physical confrontation when Perry came backstage after the FTW Title match.
“There was a physical confrontation between CM Punk and Jack Perry right before CM Punk went through the curtain. Working on more details.”
PWInsider also confirmed that there was an incident between Punk and Perry.
“At some point after Perry’s match with Hook, we are told Punk, and he had an altercation with several sources claiming Punk ‘went after’ or (dependidng on the story) ‘hit’ Perry.”
In an update, PWInsider noted that CM Punk is still backstage at Wembley Stadium. However, the officials have ordered Perry to leave. The former FTW Champion has left the stadium.
